Winter holiday at the Arlberg

Winter holidays at the "Arlberg" in Tyrol - Austria.

That is a centre with a wellness area, a swimming-pool, a fitness centre, a sauna, a steam bath and a recreation area.
Also in "Pettneu" holidaymakers can relax in the "Wellnesspark Arlberg".

Dinner:

"St. Anton" is famous for its culinary consumptions. Excellent dishes, remarkable service and wonderful atmosphere are not only popular with winter sport mates.
5 restaurants got a label in 2007: "Alte Post, "ben.venuto", hotel "St. Antoner Hof", "Verwallstube" and "Hospiz" in St. Christoph.
The "Verwallstube" is at a height of 2.185 metres and there guests sit in ski suit and enjoy a delicious menu.

6 months pleasure:

Beginning of the season with XXL-giant slalom and "St. Anton" rallye. The season starts with a big opening at the end of November.
The locals and the guests celebrate together with music and several programmes. The XXL-giant slalom, which took place for the first time in 2007, is breathtaking and 3 kilometres long. 140 gates demand athletic prowess and staying power.

Snowcrystal and wedelweeks (from the end of November to the end of December):

Right at the beginning of the winter season you can book the snowcrystalweek. The ski pass is reduced to 25%.
Next are the wedelweeks that make the pre-season more attractive with good offers.

Après-ski hits at the "Arlberg":

Yearly the RTL2-party happens at the "Mooserwirt". You hear songs which are in fashion. It’s hot, it’s cramped and those who look for cooling can follow the shooting on a video wall.
The entrance is free.

Powder snow weeks in January:

January is the month for fans of powder snow and for carvers. Most of snow often falls in January. 180 powder snow runs wait for you.

Ladies first weeks in January:

January is not only for powder snow but also for ladies. In the end women are spoilt as hell.
In this time every woman gets a "Ladies First Book" at the tourist office, containing different goodies, gift tokens and offers.
According to their wish, desire and mood the ladies can choose and use up: drinks, skies for testing, ski service and wellness hours.

Corn snow and fun: spring in "St. Anton":

Spring in "St. Anton" is well known for excellent snow and ski run conditions. In this time of the year skiing is especially voluptuous.
The holiday resort celebrates winter by the end of April with sports and social highlights.

Corn snow week (at the end of March):

When the days getting longer, skiers and snowboarders are glad about relaxing holidays in "St. Anton".

The Austrian championship of skiing instructor take place: big air contest for skies and snowboards, a freeride competition, the giant slalom or the demonstration competition.
The performance of the pros is a feast for the eyes.
Particularly popular at this time is chilling at the "Rendl-beach".

"Der weiße Rausch" (the white frenzy) at the end of season:

Don´t miss this event! For participants and observers this spectacle is cult.
At a height of 2.650 metres hundred international people meet each other for a mass start.
The ski run is 9 kilometres long and at the end everybody is happy to reach the finish.
